Jellow Plus is an aid for the communication needs of stroke and Aphasia patients. It is organised into three levels, ‘Basic’, ‘Intermediate’, and ‘Advanced’. The basic level has 6 icons that a patient would need while their stay in the hospital. The intermediate level provides 18 icons that the patient would need during their recovery at home. The Advanced level is under development.
This application allows a single touch communication, wherein the patient can convey their immediate needs. This bridges the communication gap between the patient and their caregiver.
Jellow Plus is developed at the IDC School of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) located in Mumbai. The application is still under development. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please submit your feedback/comments via email at jellowcommunicator@gmail.com.
